Manchester City Women have recently completed the signing of two-time FIFA Player of the Year, Carli Lloyd. Carli has chosen to join City after turning down various deals from US teams, and is living proof that women in sport are making waves within their industries.

One of the most prominent industries within female sport is netball. Sports 360 are proud to be the official sales agency of England Netball, and we’re really excited to see what this partnership will bring. England Netball have a partnership with Sky Sports, meaning that they enjoy weekly television coverage to an audience of tens of thousands.

In 2016, England Netball celebrated its 90th anniversary! The first World Netball Tournament was held at the Chelsea College of Education in Eastbourne in 1963, and, unlike modern competitions, was not a knock-out tournament. Each team played all of the other teams, and the basis of the scores was used to award points. The team with the highest score then won the tournament.

Fast-forward to the 2015 World Cup, and the England Netball Team has played in every World Cup since 1963, and has never finished lower than fourth place! The 2015 tournament took place in the All Phones Arena in the Sydney Olympic Park, and had 16,800 spectators in attendance – a world record number!
