After a manic couple of months leading into the summer, June has brought a bit more office time, but no less hard work and we’ve reached 2019’s halfway house in good shape………..

We were delighted to bring Betfred and the 2019 Netball World Cup together, which sees the betting giants become an official partner of this summer’s tournament. Women’s sport is enjoying a fantastic few years and an unbelievable summer and there isn’t a better time for brands to be involved, especially with the Roses heading into the tournament with their eyes firmly on the prize.

We have made a concerted effort to push the Sports 360 brand in rugby league this year, with our “In Trinity & Beyond” signage at Wakey and sponsoring of Warrington Wolves shorts. We also have another exciting deal due to be signed off as we type, with one of rugby league’s most talked about clubs……………… More on that next month.

The National League AGM at Celtic Manor is always a highlight of the calendar, but unfortunately this year’s event was marred by the tragic passing of Leyton Orient manager Justin Edinburgh.

All those involved carried the occasion magnificently in such horrendous circumstances and it was fitting that the top award for the night, ‘Manager of the year,’ should go to Justin Edinburgh himself, for his outstanding work in the hot seat at Brisbane Rd.

A great man who will be sorely missed from the game.

Looking ahead to next season, our ‘Summer Run’ got underway, where we install new Vanarama signage for teams entering one of the three National Leagues. It’s always great to welcome new clubs and see the hard work that goes on behind the scenes in preparation for the upcoming campaign.

When the season is in full swing, we toil away, branding grounds in Vanarama colours ahead of LIVE BT Sport games from the National League and match days tend to go by in somewhat of a blur. From Chorley down to Torquay and a few in between this year, the ‘Summer Run’ gives us a great opportunity to look at a good few empty, sun baked grounds and reminisce about what was, think ahead to what might be and reflect on just what a great competition the National League really is.

Staying in football, it was brilliant to finally get the Rangers kit sponsorship renewal over the line with online casino giants 32Red. The betting brand have been with the club through some dark days in recent years and it’s great to see the partnership continue to flourish as the men from Ibrox climb towards the top of the table and return to European football for a second consecutive season.

Our sponsorship of Warrington Wolves shorts continues to be a great success as the Wire are enjoying a brilliant season and have featured on Sky Sports consistently up to this point. Although they couldn’t quite get past a brilliant Saints side late in the month, it was great to see our brand LIVE on Sky Sports in what was the biggest game of the season so far. Everything remains crossed for a strong finish to the league and cup campaigns.

Perimeter advertising is the bread and butter of what we do, and our clients continue to be showcased in some of the best rugby league and football games in the country. With Super League in full swing, the Netball World Cup imminent and the football season just around the corner, perimeter advertising is always at the front of our minds and we are continually working with new clients………..Could 2019 be the year your brand reaps the rewards of perimeter advertising in sport?

In the world of darts, Gerwyn Price and Joe Cullen continue to proudly wear Jasic’s logo on their shirts as they play all over the world in various PDC events. Played in packed out arenas, LIVE on Sky Sports and streamed on the PDC website, a season of Darts sponsorship can put your brand in front of gigantic audiences, right across the globe.
We’ve still managed to take in a good dose of LIVE sport this month, with rugby league taking up most of our watching time.

We’ve seen Salford, Wakey, Cas and finished the month by sponsoring the match ball at Wigan v Salford in the glorious sunshine. We got to take in another Josh Warrington fight courtesy of 32Red, where once again the atmosphere was absolutely tremendous and even sampled the Champions League final atmosphere, although didn’t manage to find a ticket.

June was a little easier going than some months, although we still carried on our work with some great clubs and clients and we might just be adding another one to the pack in July.
